Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. Kirk brings a deep connection to the community in both her personal and professional life. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She went on to receive her medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, graduating with Research Honors. She then completed her Ophthalmology Residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, where she served as Chief Resident.
Throughout her training, Dr. Kirk was actively involved in global outreach, participating in surgical mission trips focused on cataract and pterygium procedures in underserved communities. She also maintained a strong commitment to clinical research, presenting her work at multiple regional and national conferences.
Dr. Kirk is passionate about the transformative impact of ophthalmic care and is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate treatment.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kirk enjoys baking sourdough, running half marathons, practicing Pilates, and traveling the world with her husband.
